Welcome

Barton Mills is a small community of around 900 residents in West Suffolk. It runs alongside the A11 near to (and including) Fiveways Roundabout between Newmarket and Thetford. The nearest town, Mildenhall is a little over a mile away.

The village boasts a superb playing field which hosts regular football matches, car boot sales and village events such as the bi-annual Scarecrow Festival and, of course, a play area for children which was updated in 2010. There are two pubs and two churches and plenty of thriving clubs and other organisations, all included on the website.

Many thanks to everyone who helped in any way at the Christmas Fair in St Mary’s Church on 2 December.  Once again it was a very successful evening and more than £400 was raised by the charity stalls.  The church also raised about £151  from donations and sales, which helped towards the heating and lighting of the church.

Thanks also to everyone who came along on the evening and supported this event.  We hope you all enjoyed it and had a delightful evening.
